About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#99814) who got my start working with young children and families by providing support in home, school, and community settings as a mental health professional and educator. For the last decade, I have worked with and continue to work with individuals and families on a variety of issues from day-to-day burnout to worldly stressors to personal traumas. In addition to my practice, I am the Clinical Director of the Self Injury Institute, the Vice President of Caldwell Family Institute, and an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University.
My Experience
One of my biggest core values is authenticity, which is reflected very much in my work. I have had moments in my life where I’ve struggled with family, relationships, and work difficulties and have spent my career dedicated to helping others navigate through such challenges. I am understanding, mindful yet direct, and supportive. I provide a space for my clients to process their feelings, but more importantly, I put my energy into challenging them towards betterment.
My Style
My areas of specialization include Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Multicultural Therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - focuses on managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
Family Systems Therapy - focuses on family dynamics
